In order for our staff to safely maintain operations during external crisis periods like this, Colonial Consulting has enacted its business continuity plan which allows us to react with steadiness and focus to ensure that our clients continue to receive the same faithful service we have always provided. A robust technology infrastructure has been a pillar of the firm since inception and has included the operational capabilities for employees to work remotely for the foreseeable future.

In adherence to the New York State “Pause” mandate, our physical office will remain closed until further notice from the CDC and local authorities. All staff will continue to work remotely.
How have your in-person meeting and travel policies changed in the wake of COVID-19?
- All visitor access to our physical office has been suspended until further notice.
- All business travel has been suspended until further notice.
In what way is Colonial Consulting using its technology infrastructure to service clients in a safe and efficient manner?
During this time, our secure Client Portal is live and operates without delays.
Until further notice, all quarterly reports will be delivered digitally, minimizing physical contact while expediting delivery in a green manner. In addition, sensitive documents are being delivered via secure email attachment links or via our secure Client Portal, which is a repository of historical as well as the most current documents. In order to protect sensitive client information Colonial’s Cyber Security policies strictly require that all communication of such information is encrypted in transit and at rest.
We will continue to monitor the situation, update this page, and reassess our policies based on guidance from local authorities.
